Thanks to all those who attended our Annual General Meeting last Wednesday evening at Muntpunt!
We had an fun and passionate discussion about the past, present and future of the organisation.
The future for Friskis looks bright. Over the past year our membership has increased by 11% and we have made great investments in training a new group of instructors which means that we will be able to offer even more sessions to our members.
We also elected a new Board (which now consists of Anne Laure Léger, Jeroen Overstijns and Peter Rask) to guide Friskis during the coming year. Their main goal is to bring the fun to our members and ensure that Friskis is the best way to stay fit and healthy in a fun way!
We also took a moment to thank the members of the previous board (Patty Truong, Sibylle Reichert, Amelie Delforge and Anne Peters – Anne Laure Léger has accepted to stay on as Chairperson for another year) for their brave leadership over the course of the past year.
A brief, special presentation was made to honour Anne Peters for her many years of dedicated service on the Board and to Friskis in general.
You can find a copy of the presentation that was made at the AGM here (10MB):
