Published on April 29, 2019
The Nordic Walking team is organizing a special event “Walking Brussels” on Wednesday 22nd of May 2019, from 7.00pm till +/- 8.30/9.00pm
Leave the poles in the cloakroom and discover Brussels by foot. On this walk, we will discover the “Marolles” (Chapelle des “Brigittines”, Church of the “Minimes”, “The Immaculate Conception”, the Hellemans district, the Pawnshop, the Horta kindergarten, the Brussels baths, the Breughel house, the street art, rue Haute, …). What are the stories behind these streets? How is the area connected with the history of Brussels?
There will be time for a break in one of the many cafés in the area, subject to availability & time.
Get to know your city! Come and join us.
Meeting Point: Place Poelaert at 7.00pm (in front of Monument to the Glory of the Belgian Infantry, on Esplanade).
The walk begins and ends here. No children please.
This special event replaces the regular Nordic Walking Session and is open and free of charge for everyone (both members and non-members).
The tour will be guided by Guy.
