And if you are not yet ready for it (but most of you are, that’s for sure!!!), please please please spread the word as much as you can among our amazing members when you participate in sessions or when you have a drink with them, you are our best ambassadors and our best chance to find great candidates!

This is your great chance to:

  • Join a wonderful international community of volunteers,

  • Share your passion for sports and the great workout experience with others and help inspire them,
  • Develop your leadership skills and lead an adoring crowd who will follow your every move

Come join the family!

If you are already an active member of Friskis&Svettis Brussels and would like to become an Indoor instructor, now is your opportunity to apply and become an instructor like Joanna:

“I love being an instructor! Every session I am enjoying it more and more, growing in confidence, energy and just feeling more ‘natural’ in my instructor role! Looking back now, 6 weeks after our licensing session, I’m so glad I signed up to become a Friskis Jympa instructor and started this journey nearly one year ago!”

What are the requirements to become an instructor?

Nothing major! Don’t worry! First of all you should already be active within the organisation for a minimum of 1 year either as a volunteer or as a member. You should have a good fitness level, good coordination skills, an outgoing personality and be able to commit for a minimum of 2 years, preferably more (see? told you it was easy!). You should also be able to communicate in English (if you understood everything we’ve said so far… Congratulations! You’ve just passed the English part of the test!). Oh and don’t forget to smile cause that shows how passionate you are about your role! And if you’re still unsure about whether or not it’s worth it then you should talk to one of our most recent instructors, Daniela:

“Do it! Go for it! You don’t have anything to lose!

That was my conclusion – after quite some thinking, I have to admit – why to apply to become a Friskis-instructor. After so many years as a member and several times considering becoming an instructor the right moment was there.

And yes: you cannot lose, it’s only about winning! In my case: testing my limits, increasing my physical capacity, learning new things, getting to know many great people, becoming part of a community of like-minded etc., etc. And above all: It’s so much fun!”

What can you expect from Friskis Brussels?

We make a long term investment in our instructors. So you can expect regular follow-up sessions and trainings in Sweden to ensure that you are up to date on the latest trends.

How you can apply?

Send your application to info@friskis.be by the 18th January 2019 including a motivation letter describing yourself and your involvement in Friskis&Svettis. Tell us why you would make the ideal candidate.
